What is the RocketMSP Podcast?

the RocketMSP Podcast is a show for MSPs that airs live on Wednesdays at 1:00 PM US/Eastern. I typically host vendors to come answer questions and demo their products. I have occasional interviews with content to help MSPs run a better organization.   

Can I use a webcam?

A webcam is fine—that's what I use. Lighting really impacts video quality, so be sure to get some front lights. I've got an Elgato Key Light which creates a soft light in front of me. I can change the color temperature which gives me control of the overall look and feel in the room.

Can I use the microphone built into my webcam?

Please, I implore you: invest in a nice microphone. I recently upgraded to the Shure MV7 and wow. I never realized a microphone could sound this amazing. 

I use the Elgato Mic Arm LP to get the mic right up to my mouth without being an eyesore on the screen.

I'm ready to be on the show. Can I go straight to booking an appearance?

You can! Select the show you want to book and the calendar that pops up will book your appearance.

We’ll communicate back and forth via email to hammer down specifics. I’ll provide you a list of questions that I may ask (the RocketMSP Podcast) or an SOP for a specific KPI that we’ll discuss (Beyond the Dashboard).

Are there any costs associated with being on the show?

Nope, it’s free!

Do I need to be the Owner/CEO to be on your show?

Nope, just be able knowledgeable about our topic. I’m not using the podcasts as a sales funnel into some other service.  

How do you make money?

I have a full-time position as Marketing Manager at Avrem Technologies, an MSP in Canfield, Ohio.

I love hosting this podcast and would love to generate some sponsorships for the right companies.

What is your process like?
